We have a history of military people in our family. My dad was assigned to the USS Mississippi while in the Navy, and fought in the Battle of Leyte Gulf during World War II; and it was there that the peace treaty was eventually signed with Japan. Although he hated war, he knew it was the only way America could have freedom. There are many other family members who have given their time to secure our freedom including my brother and my husband Our current family members now serving our country is my grandson who is on a nuclear submarine, a nephew who is an Air Force pilot, and a nephew who is active in the Marines. I'm proud of all of them! Thanks to all of our military men and women who are willing to fight for the freedom that we enjoy here in America! May God bless you all!

Great pictures. I can see where you get your terrific smile (your Dad, I assume) Thanks for including Ryan. BTW he has been assigned to San Diego once he completes his training.
