Spectators: Everyone.
Cheerleaders: Angels.
Game Plan: Word of God.
Time Clock: Using our time wisely for God’s work.
Kickoff: Salvation.
Run the ball: The Christian Race.
Goal: Where a Christian desires to be.
Yard line markers: Where we are in our walk with the Lord.
First and Ten: First is where we are; ten is where God sees us.
Pass: Prayer chain.
Catch: Capturing the vision God has for our life.
Defensive tackle: Protecting our gifts and ministry.
Offensive tackle: Redeeming the land God has promised us.
Block: Hold Satan’s attack.
Punt: Move Satan’s team back.
Penalties: God-given discipline that teaches us to grow.
Time out: Prayer, meditation, and reading the Bible.
Huddle Fellowship with other believers.
Touchdown: Each goal accomplished in our walk with God.
Halftime: Time with God to reevaluate your walk with Him.
Fumble: When we blow it (we all do!)
Recovery: God turns our fumbles into things of beauty.
Final Whistle: Gabriel’s trumpet.
