People In Our Lives

After I wrote the article about Kaleidoscopes, God reminded me that I've been in small groups for years - I just didn't think about them in that light.  For example, there have been a few times when several close Christian friends have helped me walk through some very rough patches in my life.  Their talks and prayers sustained me, and helped me to grow stronger.  Then, there have been times when only one or two people have come along at the right time to mentor me, but they made a dramatic impact on my life.  So, small groups don't necessarily have to have the label of Small Group or Life Group.  Instead, it can just be a few people God brings across your path from which to draw strength to help you through the tough spots.
