Easter & Spring!

Mom & our new bunny

          I love springtime - even though we barely had any winter  My little herb garden didn't even freeze!  The trees are budding, and flowers are peeking their heads above ground.  I've been drooling over the small plants that are  slowly showing up in their little pots at the local hardware stores, and Mom and I have been checking out the herbs and vegetable plants in anticipation of what we want to plant.  But something keeps telling me that it's not quite time for that yet, as much as I'd like to think that it is.
          Until today, I had refrained from buying anything for outside.  But while cruising the isles of a local discount store, Mom and I spotted a large bunny that would be perfect for my porch.  I couldn't bring myself to buy it thinking it was not a priority, but Mom caved...she bought it for me.  I think she loved it as much as I did.  A potted plant at Walmart was just the thing to set beside the bunny.  Thank you, Mom!  We will both enjoy your purchase!
          And...we still plan to buy the veggie plants - when the time is right.  After all, what is better than a juicy ripe tomato off the vine?!!
